Alternatives
Alternatives to the tools you are using now
One page for each of the 14 products UK creators, brands and agencies most often leave, or keep, when they start using Herd. Each one says what changes, what you lose and what the move involves.
People rarely search for an alternative because they are curious. Something has usually happened: a renewal, a price rise, a feature that never arrived, or a job that has outgrown the tool. These pages are written for that moment, with the pricing on every one of them checked on 21 September 2026 and linked to its source.
The honest part first. Herd has no importer, for any of these products. Moving means rebuilding a media kit or a campaign, re-entering the work that is still live and connecting Stripe before the first invoice. It is an afternoon, not a fortnight, but it is your afternoon and you should know that before you start.
The second honest part. Herd does not replace everything. There is no link-in-bio page, no LinkedIn or Pinterest publishing, no affiliate link tracking and no Shopify integration. Plenty of people run Herd next to a scheduler or a link page and are better off for it. Where that applies, the page says so rather than hiding it in a footnote.
If you would rather read a straight head to head, the comparison pages cover the same products feature by feature. Otherwise start with what Herd does or what it costs.
If you are a creator comparing tools
Creator tools tend to own one part of the week: the link page, the media kit, the scheduler or the invoice. These pages set out what moves into Herd and what stays behind.
Beacons
A creator toolkit built around a link-in-bio page, with a storefront, an auto-updating media kit, email and invoicing attached to it.
Best for: Creators whose income comes from a link in a bio: digital products, courses and an audience they sell to directly. If the link page is the business, Beacons is built for that and Herd is not.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from home.beacons.ai.
Kitly
A media kit and collaboration tracker for creators, with a separate product, Kitly Business, for agencies managing a roster.
Best for: Creators who want an audited, mobile-first media kit and nothing else, and agencies who mainly need roster reporting rather than deal paperwork and payouts.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from influencermarketinghub.com.
Later
A social media scheduler with a visual planner, publishing to seven or more networks, a link-in-bio page and post analytics.
Best for: Anyone whose whole job is scheduling social posts, especially across LinkedIn and Pinterest, where Later publishes and Herd does not.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from later.com.
Collabstr
A two-sided marketplace where creators list packages with published rates and brands book them through escrow.
Best for: Brands who want to buy a piece of content this week without building a relationship, and creators who want inbound bookings from a marketplace rather than running outreach.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from creatorstackclub.com.
Passionfroot
A booking platform where creators publish productised sponsorship packages with live availability and brands book and pay through the page.
Best for: Newsletter writers, podcasters and creators who sell repeatable sponsorship slots and want a brand to book one without an email thread.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from passionfroot.me.
HoneyBook
Client management software for independent professionals: proposals, contracts, invoices, scheduling and payments in one place.
Best for: Freelancers and service businesses of any kind, photographers especially, who need a polished client workflow and do not need anything social.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from assembly.com.
Bonsai
An all-in-one freelance business suite: contracts, proposals, invoices, time tracking, expenses and light CRM, priced per user.
Best for: Freelancers who bill by the hour and need time tracking, and small teams who want contract templates covering many kinds of work.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from hellobonsai.com.
Metricool
A social media scheduling and analytics tool with a free tier, built for managing several brand accounts at once.
Best for: Social media managers and small agencies who publish and report across many client accounts and need nothing beyond that.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from metricool.com.
If you are a brand
Brand tools usually start with a search index and stop at the report. These pages cover what a campaign looks like when the creator has an account too.
Modash
An influencer discovery and campaign tracking platform for brands, built on a very large index of creator profiles with audience data.
Best for: Brands and agencies whose main problem is finding creators and verifying their audience. If you need to filter 380 million profiles by audience location and check for fake followers, Modash does that and Herd does not.
Pricing last checked 21 September 2026 from modash.io.
GRIN
A creator management platform for ecommerce brands, built around a CRM, email sequences, affiliate links and deep Shopify integration.

Questions about switching
The four that come up before anyone reads a migration step.
- One account holds the content calendar, the inbox, the deal, the contract, the invoice and the payment, in pounds, with the brand or the agency on the other side of the same record. Herd is wider than most of the products listed here and narrower than a few of them, and each page says which.
- No. Nothing on this list imports into Herd. You rebuild the media kit or the campaign, re-enter the work that is still live, connect Stripe and leave finished work where it is. Each page sets out the order that leaves the fewest gaps.
- No. Running both for a month or a billing cycle is the usual way to do it, particularly for agencies who cannot afford to miss a commission line. Check the other product for notice periods or annual commitments before you plan the date.
- Link-in-bio pages, LinkedIn and Pinterest scheduling, affiliate link tracking, Shopify integrations and audience-demographics databases. Herd does none of those. Brands search the creators who are on Herd; agencies get an external index of 300M+ public profiles.
