Features
Everything Herd does
This is the full list, grouped by the job it does rather than by plan. Every feature below works in the product today. If something is not on this page, it is not in Herd yet, and the last section names the ones people ask for most.
Content & publishing
Write the post once, pick the channels, let Herd send it
Planning, editing and publishing sit in the same account as your deals and your invoices. Four networks, one composer, one calendar.
Calendar and drafts
Plan posts on a month or week calendar, keep unfinished ones as drafts, and give them a date when they are ready.
- A month and week view of everything published, scheduled or still waiting on you.
- Drafts hold the copy, the media and the networks you picked until you set a time.
- Scheduled posts are sent by a cron job on the server, so nothing depends on your laptop being open.
- Brands and agencies get the same calendar for their own accounts.
- Direct publishing
- Send the same post to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X without opening four apps and copying captions.
- Starter (2 connected accounts), Pro and Agency (unlimited)CreatorsAgencies
- Assets
- Upload an image or a video once and reuse it across posts, drafts and deliverables instead of hunting through a phone.
- All plansCreatorsBrandsAgencies
- Asset Library
- A permanent home for finished work, kept apart from the files attached to a single post.
- Pro and AgencyCreatorsAgencies
- Video editor
- Trim, caption and grade a video in the browser, render it on the server, then add it straight to a post.
- All plans, with export limits by planCreatorsAgencies
- Storage
- Connect your own Google Drive for nothing, or add Herd-managed storage from £9 a month for 250 GB.
- All plans. The paid tiers are an add-on, not a plan upgrade.CreatorsBrandsAgencies
Deals & contracts
One deal, three sides, one record
The approach, the negotiation, the paperwork and the payment all hang off the same deal. When the other side is on Herd, they are looking at that same deal.
Deals
Track every brand deal through its stages with the deliverables, the dates and the other side’s replies attached.
- Stages run from first conversation through to delivered and paid.
- Deliverables and their due dates sit on the deal rather than in a separate spreadsheet.
- A creator deal can be linked to the brand or the agency behind it, and they see it on their own side.
- Invoices and contracts can be raised from the deal they belong to.
- Opportunities
- Inbound brand requests arrive in a queue you can read, decline or turn into a deal in one move.
- Starter and ProCreators
- Proposals
- Send a priced proposal to a brand or an agency and get a clear accept or decline, with both sides notified.
- Pro, Brand and AgencyCreatorsBrandsAgencies
- Contracts
- Draft from a template or straight from a deal, send it for signature in the browser, and amend it later.
- Pro, Brand and AgencyCreatorsBrandsAgencies
- Rate card
- Price your packages once, share the card with a brand, and control who is allowed to see it.
- Starter, Pro and AgencyCreatorsAgencies
Inbox & meetings
Your real mailbox and your real calendar, inside Herd
Connect the Gmail or Outlook account brands already write to. Run the conversation, book the call and hold the call without leaving the deal.
Inbox
Connect Gmail or Outlook and read, reply, compose and attach files without switching tabs.
- It is your real mailbox, connected through Aurinko, not a copy of it.
- Read a thread, reply, write a new message and attach a file from your assets.
- A brand approach can be pushed through to the opportunities queue and on into a deal.
- Brands and agencies each get the same inbox on their own side.
- Meetings
- Hold the call in Herd with video, screen share and chat, and let guests join from a link with no account.
- Starter, Pro, Brand and AgencyCreatorsBrandsAgencies
- Transcripts and action items
- A meeting can be transcribed and its follow-ups pulled out, so you are not taking notes while trying to talk.

Payments & finance
Invoice, get paid, and know what the tax bill looks like
Money runs through Stripe and settles into your own bank. Herd keeps the record: invoices, expenses, cashflow and a tax view that is ready for an accountant.
Invoices
Send an invoice with a Stripe pay link so a brand can pay by card instead of promising a bank transfer.
- Raise an invoice from a deal or start a fresh one.
- The brand gets a link and pays by card through Stripe.
- The money goes to your own Stripe account and out to your own bank.
- Herd takes no percentage of an invoice payment.
- Payments
- Onboard with Stripe Connect once and payouts land in your own bank account, not a Herd wallet.
- Starter, Pro and Agency (Payments page on Pro)CreatorsAgencies
- Expenses
- Log a cost, attach the receipt, and keep it encrypted and in one place for the end of the tax year.
- Pro and AgencyCreatorsAgencies
- Financials
- Revenue, invoices, expenses, cashflow and tax in one workspace instead of four spreadsheets and a shoebox.
- Pro and Agency, with the cashflow and tax tabs on ProCreatorsAgencies
- Digital products
- Sell a preset pack, a guide or a template through your own Stripe account. Herd takes 5%.
- ProCreators
- Memberships
- Charge a recurring monthly fee for access, billed on Stripe under your own account.

Media kit & growth
A media kit that is current because it is live
One page a brand can open today, with numbers pulled from the accounts you have connected, at an address you can put in a bio.
Media kit
Build it once, edit it whenever, and share a link that is always showing the current version.
- Choose the sections, write the copy and publish when you are happy with it.
- Follower counts and engagement come from the social accounts you connected.
- You send a link, not a PDF, so there is no re-export every time a number changes.
- Public profile
- A public page at herduk.co.uk/yourname that a brand can read without signing in or asking you for a file.
- Starter and ProCreators
- Write to your own subscriber list from the same account you sell from, and see opens and clicks.
- ProCreators
For brands
Run creator campaigns without the spreadsheet
Brief a campaign, invite the creators, approve the content, sign the paperwork and pay the invoice. All of it against the same records the creator is working from.
Campaigns
Write the brief, invite creators, set the deadlines and approve what comes back, all on one campaign.
- A campaign holds the brief, the budget, the deliverables and the dates.
- Invite creators who are on Herd and they get the invitation in their own account.
- Accepted invitations create the deal on both sides, so nobody is re-keying the terms.
- Deadlines and approvals are tracked against the campaign rather than an email thread.
- Find Creators
- Search creators on Herd by niche, platform and budget per post, then save the ones you like.
- Brand (500 saved creators)Brands
- Creator CRM
- Keep the creators you work with, their history and their status in one list instead of a shared spreadsheet.
- BrandBrands
- Content Review
- See the deliverables a creator has submitted, approve them or send them back with a note.
- BrandBrands
- Product Seeding
- Send physical product to creators, track what went where, and see when it was acknowledged.

- BrandBrands
- Agencies
- Connect to the agencies that represent creators you want, and accept the requests they send you.
- BrandBrands
- Team
- Invite up to ten colleagues by email, give each one a role, and see who did what.
- Brand (10 seats)Brands
- Notes
- Keep working notes about a creator, a campaign or a conversation where the rest of the team can find them.
- BrandBrands
- Campaign reporting
- Export campaign data to CSV so it can go into the spreadsheet or the deck your finance team already uses.
- Brand and AgencyBrandsAgencies
- Activity log
- A dated record of what changed in the account and who changed it.
- Brand and AgencyBrandsAgencies
For agencies
Your whole roster, one system
Represent creators properly: find them, sign them, pitch them, paper the deal, invoice the brand and take your commission without a single spreadsheet in the middle.
Creators
Your signed creators in one roster, with their deals, campaigns and paperwork attached to each one.
- Every creator you represent, with their live deals and campaigns on the record.
- Act for a creator without logging into their account.
- Creators signed to you can be pitched to brands you are connected with.
- Discover
- Search an external index of more than 300 million public profiles and reveal contact details only when you need them.
- AgencyAgencies

Platform
The parts you stop noticing after a week
A dashboard that tells you what needs doing, a keyboard shortcut for everything, sensible security, and 2.5% of every subscription going somewhere useful.
Dashboard
The state of the business on one screen: what is live, what is owed and what needs an answer.
- Active deals, outstanding invoices and upcoming deadlines together.
- Built from the real records in your account, not a sample.
- Brands and agencies each get a dashboard shaped for their side.
- Command palette
- Press ⌘K and go anywhere or start anything: a new deal, an invoice, a meeting, a post.
- All plansCreatorsBrandsAgencies
- Two-factor authentication
- Protect the account with an authenticator app, an SMS code or a passkey.

The other list
Not in Herd (yet)
Things people reasonably expect and do not get. Better read here than discovered after you have signed up.
- A link-in-bio page
- Your public profile at herduk.co.uk/yourname is a media kit a brand reads, not a hub of links to somewhere else.
- A storefront or a course builder
- You can sell digital products and run memberships through your own Stripe account, but there is no shop front and no course platform.
- Publishing to LinkedIn, Pinterest or Threads
- Publishing covers Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X. The others are not connected yet, so they are not on this page.
- A workflow automation engine
- Scheduled publishing and automated reminders are real. There is no builder that runs a sequence of actions on your behalf.
- A public API
- There is no public API, so Herd cannot yet be wired into your own systems.
- An audience-demographic creator database
- Brand search covers creators on Herd by niche, platform and budget per post, with a keyword search on top. It does not report a creator’s audience age or location. The agency Discover tab searches an external index of public profiles, which is a different thing.

Plans and limits
Questions about what you get
- Yes, for creators. Free covers the content calendar, drafts, one draft deal, an invoice preview, the community and one watermarked video export a month, with seven days of history. Sending a real invoice or activating a deal starts on Starter.
- Three, and only three. Digital product sales carry a 5% platform fee. Membership payments carry a small platform fee. Brand-to-creator invoice payments carry 0%. Stripe charges its own processing fee on any card payment, as it would anywhere.
- Instagram Business accounts, Facebook Pages, TikTok and X. Each connects through the network’s own login. LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Snapchat and Twitch are not live yet, so we do not list them as if they were.
- Not for everything. You can email anyone from the Herd inbox, and a guest can join a video meeting from a link with no account. Campaign invitations, proposals and contracts do need the other party to have a Herd account, because they respond inside their own.
